Artemis is a dark liver and ticked male standing 25" and 68 lbs. He is a great grandson of Stradivarius Maximilien and Son of Kristan vom Pottsiepen. He received a NAVHDA Natural Ability Prize I (score 110) at 8 months. I tested Artemis at the Shenango Chapter test in September of 2006 where he received a Prize I - 195. He is the first dog I have personally trained and ran in a Utility Test. The Prize I is a testimony to Artemis - ceratinly not my training or handling.
He has proven himself on wild birds in Michigan, Kansas and West Virginia. He has a great nose, incredible retrieving desire and loves water. Not only that, he loves to please, has great conformation and awesome desire to be your companion. Artemis finished his AKC Championship after 6 weekends of shows, including several Best of Breed placements.
He is truly a dual type dog and has proven himself as a sire with a Breeders award litter to his credit. To date, his progeny have averaged a NA score approaching 105. Artemis is OFA - Good.

Huron is white with liver patchees and ticking. He has a strong solid liver head. He stands 26 inches and is a lean 75 pounds. Perfect for the lap dog he wants to be. Huron is the best mannered males you'll ever come across. He is so easy going and happy go lucky. Sheryl even took him into the schools for show and tell. In the room with autistic children, Huron just walked up to one of the kids, sat down, and laid his head in her lap. That speaks volumes for a shorthair. Huron is a larger male more to German conformation, but put together right. (Look at his puppy pictures). In the field he is methodical and determined. He finds the birds and seldom passes one over. His patterning is precise and his nose is right on. He is a gentleman's dog to hunt behind....or gentle lady's because Sheryl likes his pace, style, and hold!

Eisen was a solid liver male standing 25" at 70 lbs. He is an exceptional hunter and one of the finest hunting companions. He is a very hard charging dog who has the power and determination to produce birds. He's a veteran on grouse, woodcock, pheasant, quail, and ducks. Eisen is steady to flush and enjoys retrieving. He is exceptionally good at hunting for downed birds.
He has sired litters producing pups having the same hunting desire and eagerness to please. He is a very happy old man who loves to school the youngsters in hunting.
Eisen is OFA - Good (Retired from breeding...but not hunting.)

Murphy is an exceptional solid liver male. His top short back and superior lines not only look exceptional, but his pups have the same great looks. His is a product of superior genetics and definitely places his stamp on his offspring. A dual grandson of Hillhaven's Hustler and DC Kurzhaar's Ruger v Haven SH (2003 Dual Sire of the Year).
We bred to Murphy in 2004 and were so impressed with his pups, we wanted to breed to him again. We decided to take Disney back to him and also Faxen. We found out that Charlie and Lynn sold him Top Gun Kennels. We believed so much in what Murphy combinations produced, we followed him. We took Disney to Iowa for the breeding and ended up purchasing Murphy. He's now a West Virginia dog and has been a wonderful addtion to our family.
Murphy not only looks great, he hunts great too. He has run in AKC Field Trials as a Puppy and Derby dog and received plats. His field work is impressive, very staunch intense point; use of nose is excellent. We would do him justice to finish his field titling; he is dual capable in all aspects.
Murphy brings together the complete package of conformation, bird sense, and excellent dispostion and has complimented the BergLand standard of excellence. He is OFA - Excellent and is DNA mapped. If you're looking for outstanding Dual type GSP's with a strong desire to work, superior conformation, and great personality the family will love - than Murphy should be considered. Murphy has sired many high prized NA pups and great hunting companions.
